Meet MC

I’m MC Decker, a Registered Psychologist and founder of Mindful Cycles Psychology, where I focus on the intersection of mental health and the menstrual cycle.

My work was created from a gap I saw repeatedly in clinical practice: the significant role of the menstrual cycle in shaping our client’s emotional experience and mental health is rarely addressed in psychotherapy. Over the last decade, I’ve studied menstrual cycle neurobiology and developed an approach that aligns therapeutic care with the cyclical nervous system.

In addition to my clinical work, I now focus much of my time on teaching and training therapists to integrate this lens into their own practice. I’ve delivered training within the healthcare system, spoken at conferences, and supported clinicians in bringing a more complete, menstrual cycle-informed understanding into their work.

My big dream is to create a shift in mental health care where the menstrual cycle is intentionally integrated into psychotherapy.
